Residential Cleaner / Home Assistant

We’re looking for reliable, friendly and hardworking Residential Cleaners / Home Assistants to join our growing team and support busy families with their everyday household needs.
This is a flexible contractor position, perfect for university students, parents, visa holders or anyone looking for work that can fit around their existing schedule.
How the Role Works
You’ll be offered available jobs based on your location and availability. You have the flexibility to accept or decline jobs and choose the work that suits your schedule.
There are no set weekly hours — you can take on more or less work depending on your availability.
Regular clients may require weekly or fortnightly assistance, and there will also be opportunities to pick up bond/exit cleans and larger cleaning jobs for additional income.
What Does a Home Assistant Do?
Every household is different, so your duties may vary depending on what each family needs.
Tasks may include:
- General residential cleaning
- Bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms and living areas
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Laundry, folding and changing bed linen
- General tidying and household organisation
- Light meal and food preparation
- Dog walking and basic pet assistance
- Babysitting/child minding where suitable
- Driving or assisting with errands where agreed
- General household assistance
- Occasional bond/exit cleans
- Other reasonable household tasks agreed upon before accepting the job
The goal of the role is simple: help make life easier for busy families.

Previous cleaning or home assistance experience is helpful but not essential for the right person.
Contractor Requirements
As this is a contractor role, you will need:
- ABN
- Current Police Check
- Blue Card / Working with Children Check
- Public Liability Insurance
- Reliable transport and a valid driver licence if accepting jobs requiring driving
- Smartphone for communication and job details
