Trades Assistant - Position Details
We're growing fast-and we're looking for a hands-on, reliable Trades Assistant to support our Facilities & Engineering team across our Brisbane sites.
If you enjoy working with tools, fixing things, and being part of a safety-first team-this is a great opportunity to step into a long-term career in maintenance and engineering.
What you'll be doing
Assist tradespeople with maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment
Respond to breakdowns and help get operations back up and running
Support preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
Carry out basic repair work and servicing tasks
Work across warehouse facilities and equipment
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
Report faults and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What we're looking for
1-2 years' experience in a similar hands-on role
Experience using power tools or in mechanical/electrical environments
Valid Driver's Licence
Forklift Licence (required)
EWP / Boom Licence (required)
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team
Positive, can-do attitude with a focus on safety
Bonus points if you have
Trade qualification (or working towards one)
Experience in warehouse or industrial environments
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
