Qualified or Unqualified Personal Trainer - Expression of Interest (Freelance / Contractor)
About the Opportunity
We are currently inviting Expressions of Interest from motivated individuals looking to get into the industry to discuss their study options or to build a Personal Training business within a community lead commercial gym.
At our club, we are looking to connect with the right Personal Trainer — someone who sees this as a long-term opportunity rather than just a job.
Candidates may already be qualified, close to qualifying, or genuinely committed to entering the fitness industry and not sure where to start. For the right person, guidance and support will be provided to help you develop and succeed.
You will operate as a self-employed Personal Trainer, supported by a Personal Training Manager with over 15 years of industry experience.
What This Role Involves
- Running your own Personal Training business within a commercial gym
- Delivering high-quality 1:1 coaching or Semi-Private classes 4:1
- Building and retaining a client base
- Maintaining a professional presence on the gym floor
- Taking ownership of your schedule, income, and development
Who This Is For
We are interested in hearing from individuals who:
- Are qualified Personal Trainers or nearing qualification
- OR are seriously considering entering the fitness industry and are willing to invest in getting qualified
- Are professional, reliable, and coachable
- Have strong people skills and confidence working with members
- Want to build something long-term, not just “pick up hours”
- Ready to build something from the ground up.
Experience is welcomed but not essential — mindset and work ethic are key.

This is a self-employed / freelance opportunity, not a salaried position. Income is performance-based, and individuals are responsible for managing their own business within the gym.
