Project: 5-storey mixed use development
Contract: March 2027 with possibility of extension
We are working in partnership with a highly respected architectural firm that has recently expanded into Construction Management and is now seeking an experienced Site Manager to take a lead role in the delivery of a landmark 5-storey mixed-use development currently underway in Wagga Wagga.
The project is in its early stages, having commenced approximately three weeks ago, with site establishment complete and foundational systems already in place. This represents a genuine opportunity to step into a newly formed construction environment where you will have significant influence over site delivery, systems, and outcomes from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
As Site Manager, you will take full ownership of day-to-day site delivery, including:
- Lead day-to-day site operations, sequencing, and overall project delivery
- Drive the construction program and support development of project-specific methodology and documentation
- Coordinate subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met
- Oversee site logistics, workflow, and progress against schedule
- Implement and manage systems including Procore and 1Breadcrumb
- Build strong relationships with local trades and subcontractors in Wagga Wagga
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements across all site activities
About you:
We are seeking a highly capable Site Manager who can operate independently and confidently in a less traditional structure.
You will bring:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Site Manager
- Strong exposure to high-end residential / luxury apartment builds
- Confident working autonomously with minimal supervision or corporate structure
- Strong programming, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination skills
- Comfortable managing site systems
- Strong communicator with a practical, solutions-focused approach
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong trade relationships
