About Maid My Day
Maid My Day provides domestic assistance and home cleaning services that help older Australians live independently in their own homes. We partner with more than 50 aged care providers across Australia to deliver reliable, high-quality support that makes a meaningful difference every day.
We're a fast-growing business with a clear sense of purpose, and an ambitious vision for the future. We believe exceptional service starts with incredible people, so we're committed to creating a workplace where our cleaners feel valued, supported and empowered to build meaningful careers.
About the role
We can only help more Australians stay independent at home if we have the workforce to do it well, and that's what this newly created role exists to guarantee. As Head of Workforce Growth, you'll own our Capacity Funnel, making sure we always have the right cleaners, in the right locations, before we need them. Success isn't measured by recruitment activity; it's measured by workforce capacity.
How this role works: it's a single role with a fixed remit, and how it's filled is flexible. An experienced operator could carry it in three focused days per week. Someone earlier in their career, ready to grow into it with support from the General Manager, could take it on full-time. This role comes with a seat on our Senior Leadership Team
Tell us in your application which track fits you – we've set the role up to suit either. What you'll do
- Own our national Capacity Funnel, keeping a healthy pipeline of quality candidates flowing to meet current and forecast demand.
- Build and own strong relationships with workforce partners – Job Seeker Agencies and training organisations.
- Lead and coach a small recruitment team (Employment Consultant and Recruitment Consultants), ensuring we're hiring in the locations where staff are needed.
- Work in close partnership with our Head of Growth and Partnerships – one role grows demand, the other grows the capacity to serve it.
- Keep workforce supply growing ahead of customer demand across all our regions.
About you
We're open to two kinds of candidate. You might be a senior operator who can run a national capacity remit with little supervision and carry full accountability in three focused days per week. Or you might be earlier in your career, ready to grow into the same remit full-time with support from our General Manager – a natural relationship-builder, organised, self-driven and coachable. Either way, you build trusted relationships, hold a team to high standards, and care about building a workforce that looks after the people who do the work.
Core capabilities: Relationship building · Business development · Team leadership · Communication · Stakeholder engagement · Organisation & self-direction · Strategic thinking · Growth mindset · Data & reporting
