About the Role
MSS Security is seeking Full-Time Security Officers to join our team at a mining site in Mount Isa. In this role, you will be responsible for controlling site access, verifying personnel and vehicles, and ensuring all security procedures are followed. We are recruiting for both permanent and reliever roles.
Local applicants are strongly encouraged to apply; however, a relocation package is also available, including flights and two weeks of paid accommodation.
This position offers an attractive 110k annual package.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Manage site access control and vehicle movements to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Issue security passes, manage key registers, and secure site facilities by locking and unlocking of gates.
Provide professional customer service, monitor radio communications, and promote safe driver behaviour.
Respond promptly to incidents and complete accurate reports and site documentation.
Skills & Experience
Full Australian Working rights
Valid QLD drivers' licence
Valid QLD Security Licence – unarmed
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
Availability to work 12 hours shifts (day and night)
Master Licence Number – 41299
