Female Disability Support Worker – Casual
Location: Liverpool, NSW
Pay Rate: $40 per hour (inclusive of casual loading, excluding superannuation)
Available shift hours: A variety of shifts are available, including:
Morning shifts are 10am–12:45pm or 10:45am–1:15pm, evening shifts are 6pm–8pm or 7pm–9pm.
Available on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings, and Sunday evenings.
Employment Type: Casual
We are seeking a female Disability Support Worker in the Liverpool area who can support participants with daily living activities including personal hygiene cares, mobility and transfers while promoting independence and well-being.
No Drivers licence is required; training will be provided. We welcome applicants who are reliable, compassionate, and willing to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support to participants
- Assist with all daily living activities
- Support the participant with community access activities (outings, social engagement, appointments, etc.)
- Encourage independence, social interaction, and engagement
- Maintain clear communication and shift notes
Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Must have experience using mechanical lifters and slide sheets for patient transfers
- Preferred experience working with people with spinal cord injuries, including bowel care and catheter care
- Reliable and positive attitude
- Strong communication skills and a positive, friendly personality
