Motor Mechanic – Safe Drive Car Rentals

About Us
Safe Drive Car Rentals is one of Australia’s growing car rental companies, operating across multiple locations with a modern fleet of vehicles. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine servicing and maintenance on our rental fleet.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
* Conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks.
* Replace brakes, suspension components, tyres, batteries and other mechanical parts.
* Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard.
* Maintain accurate service records.
* Assist with breakdowns and emergency repairs when required.
Requirements
* Qualified Motor Mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
* Previous experience working on a range of vehicle makes and models.
* Current Australian Driver Licence.
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Desirable
* Experience with fleet maintenance.
* Auto electrical or air-conditioning experience.
* Roadworthy inspection experience (where applicable).
