About the Role
Evaluate Health is seeking a Part-time Exercise Physiologist to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals in Sydney. This role is ideal for a dedicated and compassionate professional who is passionate about using exercise-based interventions to support autistic children under the NDIS and assist individuals recovering from injuries and disabilities in improving their physical function and returning to work. The position also involves conducting clinic-based assessments, designing tailored exercise programs, and preparing detailed reports to support patient care and rehabilitation plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct exercise-based assessments and develop or implement individualized exercise programs to improve clients’ physical function and overall health.
- Provide exercise therapy and support to autistic children under the NDIS, helping them enhance motor skills, coordination, and independence.
- Design and implement rehabilitation programs to assist clients in recovering strength, mobility, and preparing for a return to work.
- Assist with functional capacity evaluations and contribute to report writing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor treatment progress, adjusting exercise plans as needed to optimize client outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in exercise physiology to deliver evidence-based care.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and professional accreditation requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology
- Licensed and compliant with state healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Strong report writing skills with experience in clinical documentation.
- Ability to assess client conditions and develop personalized exercise programs to improve function and recovery.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to support clients with different personalities.
- Proficient in computer-based documentation and reporting.
