- Our business is a wholesale distributor of boutique beverage products operating in the foodservice industry. Operating in the Heidelberg West area in a clean and modern environment, we are looking for a Part-time warehouse employee. Please find below a list of responsibilities ad skills required. Note that training will be provided.
- The role includes processing orders, managing customers and logistics, picking and packing products as well as maintaining the warehouse and stock. The role is split between desk work and being active in the warehouse, and there is always something new every day.

- Payment will be made according to the Storage Services And Wholesale Award [MA000084], and dependent on you skill level and the amount of training required.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Processing orders that arrive via email and calls and entering these into an order management system
- Picking orders from specific warehouse areas and packing them for dispatch
- Booking order through various freight providers and ensuring appropriate documentation is attached to the products in the order
- Raising invoices through an accounting system
- Being able to unload products from containers and packing them upon pallets
- Periodic counting of stock in the warehouse
- Answering phone calls and dealing with basic customer inquiries
- Keeping workspaces and the warehouse in a clean and orderly fashion
- Working independently and being able to report to supervisor on a periodic basis throughout the day
- The role involves using a forklift (training can be arranged at your own cost).
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Competent and fast computer skills (to be able to navigate multiple booking and delivery management systems
- Having a logical and meticulous manner in following company procedures
- Physically fit to be able to pack orders in an efficient manner (be it on a pallet or loose)
- Knowledge and competence in using Microsoft office applications and email and calendar systems
- Capable English skills for speaking and writing
