About the role
Join Transgrid as a Procurement Lead - Maintenance & Facilities Management and play a key role in securing the services that keep our assets, facilities and operations running safely, reliably and efficiently.
Working closely with operational stakeholders and suppliers, you'll drive procurement outcomes that deliver value, enhance supplier performance and support critical infrastructure while ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory and social procurement requirements. This is an opportunity to influence strategic sourcing decisions and contribute to the reliability of Australia's energy network.
About you
You’re an analytical and solutions-focused professional who can interpret complex technical, financial and regulatory information and turn it into practical recommendations. You’ll bring strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and deliver quality outcomes to competing deadlines, along with excellent communication skills and the confidence to collaborate, influence and explain complex concepts to diverse audiences. Other requirements include:
- Strategic Procurement (Source to Contract) experience, ideally in energy, infrastructure or government.
- Understanding of procurement, commercial frameworks and risk management.
- Experience working with legal and technical advisors with sound understanding of commercial negotiations
