The role aims to deliver compassionate, holistic counselling services to support individuals seeking therapeutic services throughout the Sunshine Coast region, focusing on quality outcomes for clients across different demographics.
This position will ensure flexible service delivery and will include the provision of support and sustained engagement, advocacy, and may also support the development and facilitation of therapeutic support through one-on-one counselling and intervention.
Sub-contractors are required to implement and adhere to the guidance provided by Shear Community Services policy and procedures.
We are seeking an ACA registered Counsellor in a flexible sub-contracting role with the ability to scale up and expand.
This role is ideal for a practitioner with an existing position or other commitments looking to gain additional experience in their profession. This position offers flexibility to integrate alongside an existing position in private practice or to provide experience alongside academia.
Essential Requirements:
-Minimum Bachelor or Graduate Diploma level qualifications in Counselling.
-Registered with Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
-Experience delivering therapeutic interventions, reflected in a high level of knowledge and skills in responding to the impacts of disability and mental health.
-NDIS Worker Screening Check.
-Proof of NDIS Orientation Module, or willing to obtain.
-A valid driver’s license.
-Police clearance not less than six (6) months old.
-Valid Working with Children Check (Blue card).
Pay: From $105.00 per hour
