About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Lead and coordinate whole-school inclusive education practices
Oversee adjustment processes, intervention programs and support services
Support teachers to implement differentiated and inclusive teaching practices
Use data-informed approaches to improve student outcomes
Collaborate with families, specialists and external agencies
Contribute strategically to school improvement priorities and student wellbeing initiatives
Build staff capability in inclusive education and disability support processes
Desirable skills and experience:
Deep understanding of the Queensland Department of Education inclusive education priorities and legislative requirements
Strong knowledge of inclusive education practices and adjustment processes
Demonstrated leadership experience in inclusion settings
Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills
Ability to coach and support teachers to improve outcomes for diverse learners
Experience leading intervention or support programs in a primary school setting
Knowledge of trauma-informed practices, behaviour support and wellbeing frameworks
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and external providers
Skills in data analysis and strategic planning for school improvement
