- Maintenance and repairs including servicing, diagnose and repair tractors, harvesters, forklifts, and small engines
- Maintenance of Truck Fleet including Light Rigid, Heavy Rigid & Heavy Combination Trucks
- Maintain irrigation pumps and systems
- Service spray units and hydraulic systems
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Mentoring x2 Apprentices (1st & 4th year) with daily tasks
Essential:
- Trade qualification (Certificate III or similar)
- Experience as a Mechanic in Agricultural or Turf Industry
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair faults
- Current WA Driver’s Licence
Desirable:
- Experience with turf harvesting equipment
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Current WA Forklift Ticket
Pay rate will be determined on qualifications, skills and experience.
