An unique opportunity to shape the maternity services has become available for an experienced and inspiring midwifery leader to join Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) as a Midwifery Unit Manager Level 3. As a key member of the Nursing and Midwifery leadership team, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across maternity services, driving excellence in patient-centred care, clinical outcomes, workforce development and service innovation. You will inspire and empower a highly skilled team of midwives, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, compassion and continuous improvement.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registered Midwife-Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) AND Relevant management tertiary qualification OR equivalent work experience, OR a combination of study and work experience; and demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and support a clinical team.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in Microsoft Applications, roster management systems and electronic medical records.
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in change management and initiating a new service delivery model within an established service.
Evidence of and commitment to patient/customer focused care, clinical governance and quality improvement.
