About the role
We’re looking for a commercially minded RGM Analyst to join our team in Melbourne, playing a key role in shaping pricing, revenue, and performance across our FMCG portfolio.
At its core, this role is about turning data into action - helping the business understand where we are today, what we should do next, and what that means for revenue, margin, and market share for both SunRice and our retail partners.
Reporting into the Revenue Growth Manager you’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance across the ANZ Grocery Retail and Pet Specialty channels to build data-led strategies, deliver impactful reporting, and track how recommendations perform in market - making a real contribution to commercial outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
Building and maintaining pricing and revenue models to support commercial decisions
Developing “current vs. future state” scenarios, clearly quantifying revenue and margin impact
Translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations
Creating and enhancing reporting packs and dashboards (Excel & Power BI)
Tracking and evaluating the performance of pricing and promotional initiatives
Analysing revenue, market share, and competitor dynamics
Working with internal and external data sources, including SAP and syndicated data (e.g. Circana)
Partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Category, Marketing, and Finance
Supporting retailer strategies across ANZ Grocery and Pet Specialty Retailers
Continuously improving reporting, data integrity, and insight generation
About You
You’re a naturally curious and commercially driven analyst who enjoys solving problems and making sense of complex data. You thrive in a fast-paced FMCG environment and are confident partnering with stakeholders to influence decisions and drive outcomes.
You will bring:
3–5 years’ experience in FMCG analytics (RGM, Commercial Finance, Category, or similar)
Experience working with major ANZ Grocery retailers (Woolworths, Coles, Metcash, Foodstuffs)
Advanced Excel skills, including modelling and scenario analysis
Strong Power BI capability, with experience building and maintaining dashboards
Experience working with SAP and external data sources (e.g. Circana/IRI/Quantium)
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to link analysis to revenue outcomes
Excellent problem-solving and analytical reasoning skills
Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
Ability to work at pace and manage competing priorities
