About the role
The new Test Lead will play a critical role in the delivery of our Human Capital Management (HCM) implementation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Implementation Partner to develop a comprehensive test strategy and detailed plan that clearly defines objectives, approach, and coverage across all testing phases, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
You’ll be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying and managing defects, and ensuring robust quality assessment of both functional and non-functional requirements. In addition, you’ll play a key role in collaborating with the Implementation Partner, Functional Lead, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand requirements and support the design and delivery of effective testing approaches.
The successful candidate will also partner with the Integration Lead to support the planning, execution, and tracking of end-to-end unit and integration testing, ensuring that integration solutions are reliable, fit for purpose, and meet business requirements.
About you

Key Accountabilities include:

Must have 3+ years experience successfully software testing on Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, including their functionalities, modules, and integration points.

Familiarity with various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

Demonstrated knowledge of different testing methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and V-Model, and how they apply to software testing.

Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks for test case management, defect tracking, and test automation (e.g., JIRA, Selenium, QTP).

Proven experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various testing phases (e.g., unit, integration, system, UAT).

Proven experience working in cross-functional teams, including 3rd party vendors, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure comprehensive testing and validation.

Established experience successfully mentoring/leading other testers.
Salary for this position is commensurate to the successful candidate’s aligned skills and experience to the position.
