We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our busy kitchen team.
About the Role
This is a fast-paced role that involves assisting with food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting the chefs to ensure smooth daily operations. The successful applicant will play an important role in preparing takeaway orders and maintaining high food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and packing takeaway and Uber Eats orders
- Assisting with food preparation and basic kitchen duties
- Handling and preparing raw meats in accordance with food safety requirements
- Preparing and maintaining the salad bar
- Operating and monitoring the fryer
- Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
- Assisting other kitchen staff as required
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and food presentation
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and busy periods
