We are now seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to play a pivotal role within our growing team.
As our Medical Receptionist, you will be a key the first point of contact for patients, Pain Specialists, allied health professionals and external stakeholders.
You will be responsible for supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic across our Kogarah and Liverpool locations. The applicant will need to travel to each clinic to be suitable for this exciting role... As a guide a 4 week schedule may look like this
Week 1
Monday: Kogarah 2pm to 7pm
Tuesday: Liverpool 11am to 7pm
Friday: Kogarah 12pm to 7pm
Week 2
Monday: Kogarah 2pm to 7pm
Tuesday: Liverpool 11am to 7pm
Week 3
Monday: Kogarah 2pm to 7pm
Tuesday: Liverpool 11am to 7pm
Week 4
Tuesday: Liverpool 11am to 7pm
Friday: Kogarah 2pm to 7 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex specialist diaries and appointment scheduling
- Coordinate theatre bookings and procedural lists
- Handle billing, invoicing and daily reconciliation processes
- Manage third-party payments, including Workers Compensation, insurers and rehabilitation providers
- Liaise professionally with case managers, insurers, employers, patients and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate patient records and data integrity in Gentu
- Provide high-level administrative support to Pain Specialists and allied health clinicians
- Ensure confidentiality, compliance and smooth workflow across the clinic
- Travel between PainAid clinic locations as required
This role requires someone who can confidently manage competing priorities while maintaining professionalism, accuracy and attention to detail.
Essential Criteria
- Previous healthcare administration experience
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced clinical environment
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail
- Willingness to work across both Kogarah and Liverpool rooms
Highly Desirable
- Experience using Gentu practice management software
- Experience coordinating theatre bookings and procedural scheduling
- Understanding of SIRA / Workers Compensation administrative processes

Pay: $33.00 – $35.00 per hour
