We're looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Retail Team Member / Barista to join our Barrack St store. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, love delivering exceptional customer service, and have a passion for coffee and fresh food, we'd love to hear from you!
About the Role
As a Retail Team Member, you'll play an important role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by preparing quality coffee, serving our delicious donuts, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing high-quality coffee and beverages
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Serving and packaging donuts and other food products
- Operating the POS and handling customer transactions
- Restocking displays and maintaining store presentation
- Following food safety and hygiene standards
- Working collaboratively with the team during busy periods
What We're Looking For
- Previous café, barista, hospitality, or retail experience is highly regarded
- Previous barista experience is required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A team player who enjoys working with others
Availability – Essential Requirement
To be considered for this role, applicants must have full availability to work Monday to Thursday between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
This position has been created to support our current roster, so flexibility to work a variety of shifts across these days and times is an essential requirement.
- Approximately 15 hours per week
- Applicants who cannot meet this availability may not be suitable for this position.
