About the RoleBusiness Development & Participant Acquisition
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective participants, families, support coordinators, plan managers, allied health professionals, and community stakeholders.
- Promote Passion Disability Support Services’ values, supports, and commitment to quality care through networking, professional engagement, and community outreach.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through referral pathways, partnerships, expos, hospitals, community organisations, and local events.
- Conduct initial consultations with prospective participants to understand their goals, support needs, and funding arrangements.
- Convert enquiries into active participants through proactive engagement and high-quality service delivery.
- Meet onboarding and growth targets through effective lead generation and relationship management strategies.
- Collaborate with management on innovative marketing initiatives and referral growth strategies.
- Maintain a strong local presence by engaging with support coordinators, NDIS stakeholders, allied health providers, schools, hospitals, and community groups.
Participant Onboarding & Service Coordination
- Oversee the participant onboarding process to ensure a smooth and positive transition into services.
- Guide participants and their families through available supports, NDIS funding categories, service agreements, and expectations.
- Coordinate with rostering and operations teams to ensure supports are scheduled according to participant preferences and goals.
- Ensure all onboarding documentation, risk assessments, and handovers are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver a high-quality onboarding experience that encourages long-term participant satisfaction and retention.
Participant Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact during onboarding and the early stages of service delivery.
- Monitor participant satisfaction and proactively address feedback or concerns.
- Build trust and strong rapport with participants, families, and stakeholders through consistent communication and professionalism.
- Support participant retention by ensuring services are aligned with individual goals and expectations.
- Promote a culture of compassion, inclusion, and participant-focused care throughout all interactions.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in business development, intake, community engagement, or client relationship management within the disability, community, or healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of the NDIS, participant-centred practices, and disability support services.
- Excellent communication, networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, and achieve growth targets.
- Experience using CRM systems, care management software, or rostering systems (desirable).
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel for networking and community engagement activities.
- Passion for supporting people living with disability and helping them achieve meaningful outcomes.

Pay: $65,374.69 – $70,000.00 per year
