Customer Admin/Ops Manager - D365
We are working with a well-established organisation to find a Customer Operations Manager for their Mansfield Park site. This is a hands-on, commercially sharp role at the centre of the business, and comes at an exciting time as the company invests in a major systems upgrade.
You will be the right hand to the operations lead, running the customer operations side of the business while staying deep in the detail day to day. This is a doer's role, someone who leads a small team but is happy to roll their sleeves up, not a sit-back manager.
What the role centres on
- Preparing quotes and tenders for customers, including building the costing models behind large, high-value tenders across a broad product range, factoring in process, transport and cost
- Leading the customer operations team (2 direct reports day to day, scaling to around 8 at peak) with a strongly customer-focused mindset
- Managing back-end customer administration, including invoicing, credit, accounts payable and delivering outcomes for customers
- Investigating stocktake variances, consolidating data and supporting the finance and reporting function
- Supporting IT-related administrative tasks, including report building
- Driving continuous improvement, with an eye on new technology and smarter ways of working
What we are looking for
- Proven experience preparing quotes, tenders and cost models, and confidence working in complex spreadsheets
- Experience in a product-based, operational or supply-focused environment
- A hands-on leader who can guide a small team while staying across the detail
- Strong across the back end of customer operations: invoicing, credit, stock and data
- Customer-focused, data-literate and open to change and new technology
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication, and calm under pressure
Nice to have
- Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations experience. An advantage given the systems upgrade underway, but not essential if the commercial and operational strengths are there
The details
- Full-time, permanent
- 5 days on site at Mansfield Park, SA (no hybrid), so you will need to be local or comfortably commutable
