THE ROLE
The Branch Coordinator provides executive management support to the Chief Finance Officer and senior leadership team. The role provides a pivotal point of contact for key stakeholders from a diverse range of government, private, public and community service sectors. The Branch Coordinator is a key coordinating link between the Chief Finance Officer, the branch, the division, other divisions, government, ministers' offices and senior departmental management.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Provide high-level confidential secretariat and administrative support to the CFO including diary and calendar management, email, and travel management.
- Provide a range of effective executive support functions, including: accurately managing the office's events diary; providing quality support to committees, working groups and meetings; and preparing reports, briefs and correspondence on complex issues.
- Arrange meetings and conferences, including liaising with senior executives and government officials coordinating papers, organising venues, agendas, taking minutes and follow-up actions and making travel and accommodation arrangements.
