About the role
Reporting to the Head Chef, you’ll be part of the kitchen team responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality meals across daily service.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll work across multiple sections, support the team during busy periods and help maintain strong kitchen standards across preparation, service and presentation.
What you’ll be doing
- Prepare and cook meals across multiple kitchen sections
- Maintain consistency, quality and presentation during service
- Support the kitchen team through busy lunch and dinner periods
- Assist with food preparation, stock rotation and kitchen organisation
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards across the kitchen
- Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team day to day
What we’re looking for
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong work ethic and a hands-on approach to service
- Ability to stay calm and organised under pressure
- Team player who communicates well and supports those around them
- Flexible availability across nights, weekends and public holidays
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (preferred)
