Female Disability Support Worker – Complex Care Support
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to support a participant living with complex physical support needs in their home and community in Shepparton.
This role involves assisting the participant with daily living activities, mobility support, and community access while ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
This position is best suited to someone who is patient, physically capable, and experienced in complex care support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and daily living support
- Support the participant with community access and appointments
- Follow the participant’s support plans and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team
- Promote the participant’s independence, dignity, and wellbeing
We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to provide support to an adult participant with complex physical support needs.
The participant is a wheelchair user and requires assistance with personal care, and daily living activities.
Experience supporting participants with paraplegia, manual handling, personal care, wheelchair assistance, and dysphagia/swallowing support is highly desirable.
Applicants must be physically capable of providing active support and committed to delivering person-centred care.
Training can be provided where required.

Sunday 12pm - 3pm
Requirements
- Female support worker (participant preference due to personal care needs)
- Experience in disability support, aged care, or complex care
- Physically capable of supporting a participant requiring high physical assistance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check (if applicable)
Desirable
- Experience supporting participants with complex mobility needs
- Experience using hoists, slings, and mobility equipment
- NDIS training modules completed
