We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Barista / Cafe All Rounder to join our growing team.

About the Role
This is more than just making coffee.
We're looking for someone who can confidently work across all front-of-house duties while maintaining excellent coffee quality and customer service.
You will work closely with the management and kitchen team to ensure every customer receives an outstanding experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoffee
- Dial in espresso every morning
- Maintain coffee consistency throughout the day
- Prepare espresso-based drinks
- Steam milk to a high standard
- Latte art preferred
- Monitor grinder adjustments
- Maintain coffee quality during busy periods
- Clean coffee machine and grinders daily
- Maintain coffee station cleanliness
Customer Service
- Greet every customer warmly
- Take dine-in and takeaway orders
- Process POS transactions
- Handle cash and EFTPOS payments
- Build relationships with regular customers
- Resolve customer concerns professionally
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude
Food & Beverage Service
- Deliver food and drinks
- Prepare simple beverages
- Pack takeaway orders accurately
- Monitor presentation standards
- Ensure all orders leave correctly
Front of House
- Opening and closing duties
- Restocking display cabinet
- Restocking beverages
- Cleaning tables
- Maintaining dining area cleanliness
- General cleaning throughout shifts
- Dishwashing when required
- Assist kitchen during busy periods
Teamwork
- Work closely with kitchen staff
- Support fellow team members
- Communicate clearly during busy service
- Help maintain a positive workplace culture
Skills & ExperienceEssential
- Minimum 1 year Barista experience
- Confident using commercial espresso machines
- Able to texture milk consistently
- Able to work independently
- Strong customer service skills
- Positive attitude
- Excellent communication
- Fast learner
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Current Australian working rights
Preferred
- Specialty coffee experience
- Latte art skills
- Experience with Square POS
- Cafe opening experience
- Cafe closing experience
- Food preparation experience
- Food Safety Certificate
- RSA (advantage only)

Availability
Applicants should be available for a combination of:
- Weekdays
- Weekends
- Public Holidays
- Early morning starts (from approximately 6:00am)
- Flexibility to cover shifts when needed
Physical Requirements
This role requires you to:
- Stand for long periods
- Lift up to approximately 15kg
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Perform repetitive tasks efficiently
