About the team
The Quality team supports Peter Mac to deliver safe, high‑quality and continuously improving care. Working across clinical and non‑clinical services, the team supports quality and risk management systems, incident management, accreditation and consumer participation, partnering with stakeholders to embed best practice and strengthen patient safety and service outcomes.
About the role
The Quality Associate plays an important role in supporting quality, safety and accreditation activities across Peter Mac. Working in partnership with clinical and operational teams, you will contribute to the implementation and monitoring of quality systems, support audits and reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance patient safety and service delivery. A regular day will see you:
- Support organisation‑wide quality improvement, accreditation and audit activities.

Monitor, analyse and report on quality and safety data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders on quality frameworks, standards and continuous improvement methodologies.

Contribute to the development, review and implementation of policies, procedures and quality systems.
About you
You are a collaborative and detail‑focused professional with a strong interest in quality, safety and continuous improvement. You are comfortable working in a complex healthcare environment and enjoy partnering with stakeholders to drive meaningful change. You’ll bring with you:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in quality, healthcare or a related field.

Experience supporting quality improvement, audit and/or accreditation activities.

Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data and provide insights.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Experience in a healthcare setting and familiarity with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards will be highly regarded.
