We work with leading global brands and provide engineered solutions for construction, mining, infrastructure, agriculture and standby power applications.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and organised person to join our sales team.
About the Role
Working alongside our established and successful sales team, the Junior Sales Associate role is your opportunity to take the first step on your sales journey, where commitment and a can-do attitude will secure future opportunities.
Learn from the best as you focus on internal sales, lead management, customer follow-up and prospecting to ensure all enquiries are handled promptly and professionally. You will work closely with our sales team to help convert enquiries into orders and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys customer contact, is highly organised, and wants to build a long-term career in sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up enquiries received via phone, email, website and advertising campaigns
- Prepare and send quotes using internal systems
- Manage and update leads
- Prospect new customers via phone, email and online research
- Coordinate with the sales team to progress opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions
- Assist with general sales support and administration
About You
- Strong communication skills (phone and email)
- Confident speaking with customers and following up leads
- Organised with attention to detail
- Intermediate computer skills highly desirable
- Motivated and proactive attitude
- Ability to work in a team environment
