We're seeking a
Full-Time Assistant Venue Manager to join our team at Yo-Chi QV! You’ll drive team performance, lead daily operations, and set the standard. Work with an incredible team, feel empowered by strong leadership, and share the CHI every day!
Situated in the heart of Melbourne's buzziest shopping precinct, Yo-Chi QV is one of our most vibrant, high-energy venues, constantly buzzing with foot traffic and great vibes! Perfectly positioned between Swanston, Lonsdale, Little Lonsdale, and Russell Streets, you’ll be just steps from public transport and easily accessible parking, right at the center of all the action.
What you’ll do:
- Lead shifts with confidence, keeping service standards high and the team motivated.
- Support the Venue Manager with daily operations including rostering, stock management, cash handling, and compliance.
- Ensure every product meets Yo-Chi’s quality and food safety standards.
- Train, coach, and develop team members to build skills and deliver great customer experiences.
- Maintain venue presentation, safety, and compliance with all policies and legislative requirements.
- Drive sales, manage costs, and help the venue achieve its financial and performance targets.
What we’re looking for:
- Experienced leaders in retail or hospitality (QSR preferred!).
- Full availability across Mon–Sun with flexibility for rotating shifts.
- A “people first” leader who thrives on creating team culture & community.
- Resilient, adaptable, and always up for a challenge.
- Solutions focused.
- Confident managing rosters, performance, and team development.
