Job Description
- Assist in the design and execution of AML/CFT program, transaction monitoring, KYC/EDD processes and suspicious matter reporting.
- Liaise with business units and external regulators, maintain compliance records, support audit and review activities.
- Produce periodic reports to the Head Office and local regulators.
- Monitor regulatory developments, assist in training and embed compliance standards across the Representative Office and the future Sydney Branch.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business or related discipline; compliance certification desirable.
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in AML, compliance or financial service regulation; ideally within banking.
- Good understanding of Australian AML/CTF and financial service laws and regulations, and strong ethical standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, ability to work under regulation-driven deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- An individual must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident, or hold a valid temporary or provisional visa issued by the government
Pay: $52,440.14 – $80,000.00 per year
