Position title: APS Level 5 - Employee Relations Advisor_EXT

Location: Canberra on Ngunnawal Country, preferred but other locations considered
Tenure: Non-Ongoing for a period of up to 12 months initially. Future roles may be offered on an Ongoing/Non-Ongoing basis.

What will the Employee Relations Advisor do?
Assist and support in delivery and implementation of new Enterprise Agreement in association with APS bargaining
Secretarial responsibilities for Enterprise bargaining and IP Australia’s Workplace Committee
Maintain and develop SharePoint intranet pages for Employee Relations team
Assist with coordinating and facilitating whole of agency presentation on employment conditions and Enterprise bargaining
Develop agency wide communication for matters related to employment conditions and Enterprise bargaining
Contribute by reviewing and updating policy and procedures to align with relevant legislative frameworks and IP Australia’s Enterprise Agreement
Liaise and collaborate with internal stakeholders across IP Australia including AskHR (people support) and Payroll, to resolve complex Tier 2 HR matters
Support EL1 and EL2 leaders by attending meetings, providing input and preparing notes or records of discussion were required.

While we are looking for an individual that is willing learn the role, our desired successful candidate will have relevant experience and has a HR/relevant qualification or working towards this, however, this is not a mandatory requirement.
