Full-Time Position
Buon Appetit is a busy, family-owned Italian restaurant in Camden, known for authentic handmade Italian food, Napoletana-style wood-fired pizza, cocktails, wine, and high-volume restaurant service.
We are currently seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead and manage our bar operations on a full-time basis.
This role is suited to someone who is confident behind the bar, organised, service-focused, and capable of leading a small team during busy lunch and dinner services.
About the Role
As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth daily running of the bar, including service, stock control, drink quality, cleanliness, staff direction, and customer experience.
You will work closely with the owners, floor team, and kitchen team to ensure the bar operates efficiently and consistently during high-volume service periods.
Responsibilities
- Managing daily bar operations
- Preparing and serving cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Maintaining consistent drink quality and presentation
- Leading and supporting bar staff during service
- Training staff on drinks, service standards, and bar procedures
- Managing stock levels, ordering, rotation, and wastage
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar
- Ensuring RSA standards are followed at all times
- Assisting with cocktail lists, specials, and drink menu improvements
- Working closely with the floor team to support smooth service
- Handling busy weekend services with confidence and professionalism
- Opening and closing the bar as required
What We’re Looking For
The successful applicant will have:
- Previous experience as a Bar Manager, Bar Supervisor, or strong senior bartender
- Current RSA
- Strong cocktail, wine, beer, and spirits knowledge
- Experience working in a busy restaurant or hospitality venue
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- A professional, reliable, and hands-on attitude
- Pride in cleanliness, presentation, and customer service
Experience in an Italian restaurant, cocktail bar, or high-volume venue will be highly regarded.

Availability
You must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Buon Appetit is open Wednesday to Sunday, with our busiest services on Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays.
