What You’ll Be Doing
- Observing court-ordered contact visits between children and their parents
- Maintaining a safe, neutral, and child-focused environment
- Managing complex and sometimes challenging behaviours with professionalism
- Writing clear, factual, court-quality reports after every visit
- Accurately documenting observations without bias
What We Need From You
We are looking for individuals who are:
- Mature, Empathetic and emotionally intelligent
- Strong communicators: clear, calm, and professional at all times
- Highly reliable and able to follow structured processes
- Confident in managing difficult situations and setting boundaries
- Skilled in writing professional, objective reports
- Accountable, punctual, and consistent
Mandatory Requirements (Do Not Apply If You Do Not Meet These criteria!)
- MUST be available EVERY weekend
- MUST be available weekdays after 3:00 PM
- MUST commit to work a MINIMUM of 25 hours per week
- MUST complete reports after each contact session (no exceptions)
- Qualification or current study in:
- Social Work
- Community Services
- Childcare / Early Childhood
- Or other child-related field
- Valid and Clear Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current and Clear Police Check
- First Aid Certificate
- Full driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to client locations across Sydney
- Reliable computer + phone and access to the internet
Important – Read Before Applying

- DO NOT APPLY if you cannot work a 25-hour minimum p/week
- DO NOT APPLY if you do not like writing and your English is poor, as you will have to complete lengthy professional reports after every session.
