As part of Darebin’s City Development department, this role will help our planning, building and health teams transform and maintain our digital regulatory systems to ensure that are efficient, integrated and respond to customer needs. This will involve systems configuration, process mapping, process documentation, business analysis, as well as lifting the digital literacy and skills of team members.
This role works closely with the Customer and Business team to design workflows and ways of using systems that results in sector leading, efficient process that meet legislative requirements.

You will:
- Help your colleagues understand what features they need and then provide solutions to improve their jobs.
- Review feedback and identify ways to improve the customer experience.
- Mange and configure systems, particularly the Pathway system, and provide technical support to resolve incidents and problems.
- Help lift the digital literacy and skills of team members.
- Support the roll-out of our QMS framework to support on going improvements.
- Play an active part of Council’s multi-million dollar ERP transition project.
About you:
- Customer-focused and service-oriented, ability to build positive relationships with staff, understand business needs, and provide responsive ICT support.
- Strong Technical skills with a passion for maximising the value of systems and technology.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to investigate complex issues, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders, preparation of clear documentation, and delivery of user training and support.
- Highly organised and adaptable, ability to manage competing priorities, respond to changing requirements and maintain attention.
- Collaborative and continuous improvement mindset, demonstrating initiative, accountability, and a commitment to enhancing business systems, service delivery, and the customer experience
