We're looking for compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join IRT St Georges Basin.
As a registered nurse, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality, person-centred clinical care that enhances the health, wellbeing and quality of life of our residents. You'll be supported by a collaborative team that shares your commitment to making every day meaningful for those in our care.
To support our residents' care needs, we are seeking Registered Nurses who are flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including morning and afternoon shifts, across the week on a full-time basis. We currently have the following opportunities available:
- 1 x 12-month full-time contract
- 1 x 18-month full-time contract
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents.
- Assess residents' clinical needs and develop, implement and review individualised care plans.
- Coordinate and participate in multidisciplinary case conferences.
- Complete admission, routine and ongoing clinical assessments.
- Administer medications, treatments and wound care in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
- Monitor residents' health, identify changes in condition and document care accurately.
- Lead infection prevention and control practices, including outbreak management.
- Support, mentor and supervise care staff to deliver exceptional resident care.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families and the wider care team.
