What are we looking for?
The Superannuation & Disability Insurance team are now seeking Expressions of Interest for a Law Clerk to join our Melbourne team for a Parental Leave contract. Both Full Time/ Part-Time options will be considered. Our team works closely with clients who have superannuation Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) or private disability insurance claims following an injury or illness. We work to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients. Under supervision of a Lawyer your daily duties will include:

Undertaking client interviews to establish an entitlement to make a disability insurance claim

Review insurance policies and trust deeds applicable to the client’s matter

Preparation of claim forms and legal submissions
-
Draft correspondence to clients and third parties
-
Providing a tailored approach to each client’s matter

Managing your own file load of client claims
-
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal and external stakeholders

Working closely with the legal teams to advance legal matters for clients.
