The Opportunity
Join a highly regarded insurance litigation team that:
- Advises self-insurers under theSafety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 in respect of workers’ compensation disputes;
- Advises insurers in personal injury claims arising from transport accident; and
- Advises insurers in property damage claims.
Known for its pragmatic approach, technical excellence and strong client relationships, the team delivers strategic solutions to complex legal challenges.
This role will suit an experienced Lawyer looking to build on their career successes and continue their professional growth. Based in Melbourne, you will play a key role within the Commonwealth Compensation team, working closely with senior lawyers and contributing meaningfully to client strategy, business development initiatives and the ongoing growth of a dynamic and high-performing practice.
About You
You will succeed in this role if you are self-motivated, possess a high level of attention to detail, demonstrate initiative, and have strong time management and organisational skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 2 years’ post-admission experience in a high-performing team working on a variety of complex matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A high level of technical excellence
- Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic, commercial approach
- A passion for developing and maintaining meaningful client relationships
