Responsibilities:
- Receiving all deliveries with high attention to detail
- Communicating effectively with respective departments
- Perform store keeping role in line with hotel policies and procedures.
- Completing all associated HACCP records in a timely manner.
- Ensure loading dock is kept clean, neat and orderly.
- Ensure storage area, receiving areas and disposal bins are tidy, clean and safe. Ensure that all recyclable materials are segregated and collected properly.
- Issue the correct items and the correct quantity to all departments as ordered.
- Update inventory records on a daily basis.
- Perform month end inventory counts and investigate variances between inventory count and inventory records.
Ideally you will have:
- At least 1 years’ previous experience in a similar role
- Understanding of HACCP procedures and WHS guidelines, particularly around manual handling.
- A positive can do attitude towards everyone
- Enjoys a well-organized and tidy workspace with high level of hygiene standards
- Strong attention to detail and knowledge of food products
