Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per year
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working on a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out all aspects of carpentry work including framing, fix-out, cladding, decking and general construction
- Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications accurately
- Measure, cut, assemble and install timber and other materials to a high standard
- Construct, install and repair structures and fixtures such as walls, floors, doors, windows and cabinetry
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Australian Standards and building codes
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors, trades and apprentices
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized worksite at all times
- Identify and report any site issues, defects or safety hazards
- Deliver work on time while maintaining quality workmanship
Requirements:
- Trade qualification in Carpentry (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Carpenter preferred
- Ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- White Card (mandatory)
- Driver’s license preferred
