About us
Springmount Pottery P/L owns The Convent Daylesford, Bad Habits Cafe & Altar Bar, all housed in Daylesford’s most iconic building. The 19th century old building was a convent and boarding school for almost 90 years had been lovingly restored in the early 1980’s and is one of the businesses that put Daylesford on the map!
The Convent Daylesford is an award-winning Art Gallery housing seven individual gallery spaces, a museum, a century old chapel and a gift shop across its 4 levels.
Bad Habits, inside The Convent, serves breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Our clients can enjoy a bite before or after exploring the Convent Gallery and gardens. The Bad Habit’s Café/Restaurant offers a selection of eclectic country fare inspired by the best produce from our favourite local producers. Our menu is updated regularly by our passionate and creative kitchen team and includes daily specials alongside the old time favourites.
The Convent is also a purpose built function venue. It is stunning & unique and very popular with wedding couples looking for a venue offering all services under the one roof. It also hosts conferences, workshops & private parties.
