We are seeking an organised, proactive and people-focused Practice Manager to join our growing physiotherapy and allied health clinic on a part-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading a team, improving systems, and creating an exceptional experience for both patients and staff. You don't need previous experience as a Practice Manager—we're happy to provide training for the right person with the right attitude, excellent organisational skills and transferable experience.
Working closely with the clinic directors, you'll help ensure the practice operates efficiently while supporting our continued growth.
About the Role
As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including:
- Leading and supporting our reception and administration team
- Ensuring an exceptional patient experience from first contact through to ongoing care
- Managing appointment systems, clinician schedules and workflow
- Overseeing billing, accounts, Medicare, private health, WorkCover, NDIS and third-party funding processes
- Managing staff and performance support
- Implementing and maintaining clinic policies, procedures and compliance requirements
- Monitoring key performance indicators and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Coordinating supplier relationships, stock and clinic facilities
- Supporting business development, marketing initiatives and practice growth
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, motivated and enjoys working with people.
Ideally, you will have:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software systems
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team
- Leadership experience or the confidence to support and coordinate a small team
- A positive, professional attitude and a willingness to learn
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous experience in a Practice Manager, Medical Receptionist, administration or customer service role
- Experience working in a physiotherapy, allied health or healthcare practice
- Ability to speak Vietnamese to support communication with members of our diverse patient community
