DENTAL HYGIENIST

Azure Dental is a modern, high-end private dental practice located in Perth, WA. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our growing clinical team.
About the Role
This is a full-time position reporting to the Principal Dentist and Practice Manager. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality preventive oral health care and working collaboratively with our dental team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine patients' oral health and record dental and medical histories
- Provide periodontal maintenance and preventive dental hygiene treatments
- Apply topical fluoride, desensitising agents, and other prescribed preventive treatments
- Take dental radiographs and assist in assessing oral health conditions
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Assist in the prevention, identification, and management of periodontal disease
- Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment notes
- Ensure compliance with infection control, sterilisation, and WHS requirements
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment for procedures
- Collaborate with dentists, dental assistants, oral health therapists, and reception staff
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Oral Health (or equivalent overseas degree)
- Current registration with the Dental Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Minimum 2 years' clinical experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Experience in periodontal maintenance and preventive dentistry
- Strong patient communication skills and commitment to quality care
- Proficiency in dental software and clinical record keeping
Salary
$100 000 - $110 000
Pay: $100,000.00 – $146,414.28 per year
