What you'll be doing
As Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide operational, clinical and strategic leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality and patient-centred acute dialysis services. You will oversee the day-to-day management of the unit while fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting excellence in nursing practice.
In this role you will be:
Leading the operational management of the Acute Dialysis Unit, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality patient care.
Building, mentoring and supporting a capable nursing workforce through recruitment, coaching, performance development and leadership.
Driving quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, accreditation standards and person-centred models of care.
Managing workforce planning, patient flow, financial and resource management to meet service priorities.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional clinical outcomes and continuously improve the patient experience.

Demonstrated relevant clinical nursing experience with postgraduate nursing qualifications in specialty or management, or working towards same
Demonstrated ability to lead change and to balance competing demands.
Demonstrated ability to motivate, manage and develop nursing/midwifery staff
Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to assess nursing/ resource requirements and utilisation
