Join our Manufacturing team based in Broadmeadows and play a critical role in delivering high-quality vaccine products. As a Pre-filled Syringe AVI (Automated Visual Inspection) & Packing Technician, you will execute visual inspection and packing operations in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment, ensuring products are manufactured safely, compliantly, and efficiently to meet customer and business requirements.
Shift: Our facility currently operates on a 5-day (M-F) operation, shift patterns may evolve, and we are seeking operators who are flexible and willing to work across both shifts, including weekends if required. Day Shift: 6:30am – 2:21pm Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 9:51pm.
Permanent opportunity, multiple positions available. These roles involve regular manual handling, prolonged periods of standing, and repetitive physical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Perform visual inspection and packing activities in accordance with GMP requirements, SOPs, work instructions, and manufacturing schedules.
Operate, monitor, and maintain inspection and packing equipment, ensuring equipment status, calibration, and readiness requirements are met.
Complete batch documentation, inventory transactions, line clearances, and production records accurately and on time.
Support product quality by identifying, escalating, and assisting with investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a safe, compliant, and organised work environment while adhering to health, safety, environmental, and company standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production targets, customer requirements, and key business performance outcomes.
Key Experience & Skills
Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within visual inspection, packing, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Understanding of cGMP, regulatory requirements, and health, safety, and environmental standards within a manufacturing environment.
Experience working in fast-paced, process-driven environments with a strong focus on compliance and quality.
Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Proven problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
Tertiary qualification in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.
