An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our premium waterfront sister venue, located at The Spit in Mosman.
Operating alongside the award-winning Antica Dining restaurant group, the venue offers a refined yet approachable dining experience in one of Sydney’s most impressive waterfront locations. Our focus is centred on exceptional food, genuine hospitality, quality beverages and memorable guest experiences.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join the senior leadership team and help drive the venue through its next stage of growth.
About the Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will take ownership of the restaurant’s day-to-day operations, ensuring consistently exceptional guest experiences while leading, developing and motivating a high-performing front-of-house team.
You will work closely with the venue’s ownership group, senior management team, kitchen leadership and beverage team to maintain and continually improve service, operational and commercial standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop the front-of-house team
- Drive exceptional guest service and overall customer satisfaction
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and service execution
- Manage staff rostering, labour costs and team productivity
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Maintain strong communication and alignment between front-of-house and kitchen teams
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and venue standards
- Manage reservations, guest feedback and service recovery when required
- Support the delivery of private dining events, functions and special promotions
- Foster a professional, accountable and positive team culture
About You
- A minimum of two years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a senior hospitality leadership role
- Strong knowledge of premium dining service standards
- Proven leadership, mentoring and team-development capabilities
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Strong financial and commercial awareness, including labour and cost control
- A hands-on leadership style and the ability to remain composed during busy services
- A genuine passion for hospitality, food and wine
- A current NSW RSA competency card
- Full Australian working rights
