A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, delivering complex brownfield construction works in and around operational transport assets. The head contractor is seeking a Graduate Engineer to support site engineering and project delivery. Key Responsibilities

Support site engineers with work pack preparation and construction planning

Assist with drawing management, specification interpretation and technical queries

Participate in field inspections, testing and quality control activities

Help maintain site records, progress documentation and as-built information

Support pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety inductions

Assist with commissioning and handover documentation

Learn and apply construction methodology and sequencing principles

Support survey and dimensional control activities
-
Engage with supervisors and subcontractors to understand construction practice

Contribute to project assurance and compliance activities
What We're Looking For

Completed or near-completed bachelor's degree in an civil engineering discipline relevant to the project

Transcript or expected completion date required

Construction placements, internships or site exposure (any scale) highly regarded

Up to two years' post-graduate experience acceptable

Basic ability to interpret drawings, use spreadsheets and communicate technical information

Current or obtainable construction induction card and driver's licence

Willingness to work on site and occasionally outside standard hours

Strong learning orientation and eagerness to develop construction expertise
