Based at either our Toowoomba or Ipswich campus, you will provide academic leadership across teaching, research and service activities, contributing to the continued growth and success of the School of Nursing and Midwifery. You will deliver outstanding learning experiences, lead curriculum innovation and mentor academic colleagues while supporting students to achieve their full potential.
You will build and lead a program of impactful research, foster research collaborations, supervise higher degree research candidates and contribute to securing external research funding. Working closely with healthcare providers, industry partners and the broader community, you will strengthen the University's reputation and influence while creating opportunities for research translation and real-world impact.
Through your leadership, scholarship and engagement, you will help shape the future of nursing education, strengthen research capability and contribute to improved healthcare outcomes for the communities we serve.
We’re looking for an experienced academic with an established national reputation and a passion for nursing education and research. You will bring:

A doctoral qualification in a discipline relevant to Nursing

Current registration or eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency

Blue card registration or eligibility to hold and maintain a Blue Card

Demonstrated experience in delivering engaged and reflective approaches to teaching

Evidence of academic leadership

High-quality publications and successful research collaborations

Demonstrated ability to attract research funding and lead impactful research initiatives.
You will also have the ability to build strong partnerships across academia, industry and the healthcare sector, together with the leadership capability to mentor and develop others, drive innovation and contribute to a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Salary: Total remuneration range $201,491 to $221,564 pa (includes salary range of $169,927 to $186,855 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
