The Opportunity
Are you passionate about animal care and looking for a rewarding casual role with a fantastic, supportive team? Centenary Vet Clinic & Hospital is seeking a client-focused Veterinary Assistant or Support Nurse to join our small animal practice!
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who excels at customer service and loves being the welcoming face and voice of a clinic.
As a crucial part of our vet and nurse team, your time will be split between supporting our clinical team and assisting our clients:

Consulting & Clinical Support: Assist our veterinarians and connect with our wonderful client community during consulting hours. Tasks include handling patient admissions, discharges, and basic triaging under supervision.

Reception & Client Services: Manage the front desk with a strong customer service focus. You will welcome clients, manage appointment bookings, answer phone inquiries, and ensure a smooth, warm experience for our patients and their families.
What We’re Looking For

Holds an Animal Care Certificate (Level II or III).

Entry-level position! Less than 1 year of experience required. We are happy to support and train the right person.

Strong communication and phone skills, a natural comfort talking to clients, and a genuine customer service focus.

Comfortable working in a bustling small animal practice environment with a focus on preventative care.
