What your day could look like
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you'll be part of a team that shows up for people in their most critical moments. In a region where community truly matters, your care helps patients feel safe, supported, and respected, while you build confidence and capability in a dynamic clinical setting.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
Providing calm, compassionate care that improves outcomes when patients need it most
Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to make timely, well-informed clinical decisions
Using your judgement and adaptability to respond to a wide range of presentations with confidence
Strengthening team culture by sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and driving better ways of care
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who brings both skill and heart to your work. You thrive in environments where no two days are the same and where teamwork and trust underpin everything. You value connection, with patients, with colleagues, and with the community you serve, and you take pride in being part of moments that truly matter. Whether it's supporting a patient through uncertainty or helping a teammate step up, you lead with compassion, integrity, and courage.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with a valid practising certificate
Strong clinical judgement and the ability to deliver safe, evidence-based care
Clear, respectful communication and the ability to work collaboratively under pressure
A genuine commitment to learning, growth, and delivering quality care
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in emergency or acute care settings and/or post-graduate study relevant to your practice.
Most importantly, you're driven to make a difference, bringing compassion, dignity, and innovation to every interaction while embracing the opportunities and lifestyle that come with regional practice.
