About the position
The City of Gosnells is seeking two motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the Parks Operations team. As part of a dedicated team, you will play a key role in establishing and maintaining horticultural assets within the City's parks and gardens.
In this role, you will support the team leader and supervisor by providing horticultural technical expertise and ensuring landscaped and turf areas are maintained to a high standard.
These permanent positions are based at the City's Operations Centre in Maddington.
What we are looking for
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:

Relevant industry experience in horticultural operations.

Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively

Experience in horticultural maintenance

Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with diverse range of staff and customers.

A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Essential requirements

White Card
-
Current "MR" Class driver's licence

Current Police Clearance (less than three months old). Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role, but it will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
- Certificate III or higher in Horticulture or equivalent.
Desirable requirements

Forklift / Loader / Chainsaw tickets.
Candidates may also be considered for future similar positions if vacancies arise within the next six months.
